Musically, the band seemed to do well for their fans who were equivocal in their support, screaming Five Finger. Moody proclaimed during the show as he led a Fiver Finger chant and concluded by saying to the crowd, “And don’t you ever forget it.” I don’t believe anyone who attended this stellar show ever will. The house of blues security personnel certainly had a busy time of it tonight. Constant touring has done the band good as they have built up a legion of fans. With each release the band has charted higher than the last with the last three reaching into the top 10. They know when to crank it up and can tone it down a bit like on “Bad Company” and “The Bleeding.” This is one of the tightest touring units on the circuit today. The sound was one of the best I’ve ever heard for a Rapids show. The double guitars of Zoltan Bathory and Jason Hook helped add some muscle to tracks such as “The Way Of The Fist” and “Burn It Down.” Rounding out the band’s lineup were the rhythm section of drummer Jeremy Spencer and bassist Chris Kael. The band took to the stage following the frenzied crowd shouting in unison the bands name with “Under And Over It” a song taken from their 2011 release American Capitalist. The follow-up release The Wrong Side Of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell, Volume 2 hits the stores next month. The Wrong Side Of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell, Volume 1, came out in June. The crowd chanted 'U-S-A' over and over again. It was difficult for Ivan to get the words out, but when he finally did, he dedicated 'Bad Company' to the men and women of the armed forces. Moody was known by the pseudonym 'Ghost' during his time with Motograter.
He performed for several other bands including Motograter and Ghost Machine before joining FFDP.
